Panax notoginseng Genome sequencing and assembly

Panax notoginseng is a species of the genus Panax. It grows naturally in China and Japan. In China, it is one of the most predominant and important herb plants. We here undertook the de novo, full-genome sequence analysis of this plant species to investigate its biological processes in ginsenoside biosynthesis and genome evolution.
