Abstract

The United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service and the California and Florida Agricultural Experiment Stations announce the release of fresh-market carrot ATLANTIS tested under pedigree (B4367xB3640<SUP>2</SUP>)xB3180. It is adapted for production in both organic and mineral soils where common open-pollinated varieties Imperator 58 and HiColor 9 are being replaced by hybrids Gold Pak, A Plus, Orlando Gold and Golden State.
